TVH: If you're American, what's the deal with Spike's British accent on the show?
JM: I am a Yank, but Spike is British. I think Joss [Whedon] wants Spike to be a punk rock kind of guy!

TVH: If you could play another Buffy character, male or female, who would you choose to be?
JM:I wouldn't trade places with anyone! I truly think I have the best role on the show.

TVH: Which Buffy star are you closest to?
JM:I'm friends with everyone! We all get along great, and not just the cast, there are about 300 people working like dogs to make Buffy, and I have yet to meet even one total jerk! I think the producers know that people with good social skills work more effectively.

TVH: So spill it! What's it like kissing Sarah Michelle Gellar?
JM:If I answer that question Sarah's boyfriend would hit me with a bat, and I wouldn't blame him! I'll just say it's a very cool part of my job.

TVH: Since you've been on Buffy, how has your life changed?
JM:I now don't have to worry about rent, which is a huge relief. Before I started on Buffy I worked in theatre, and I was pretty poor in those days!

TVH: In real life, which Buffy babe would you choose: Buffy, Willow or Anya?
JM:Can't I have them all?
